If you believe in hell, do you believe it is eternal? Do you believe it is a place of absolute separation from the presence of God, filled with screams and the terror of those suffering in everlasting torment? My intention in this page is to verify beyond a shadow of a doubt, especially to those who believe the words of the Bible, that if there is a hell, it can not be eternal. After all, smile, only God is eternal.

Is God GOOD? I mean, REALLY good?

THE LORD IS GOOD AND HIS MERCY AND LOVING-KINDNESS ENDURE FOREVER

Will the Lord cast off forever? Will He be favorable no more? Have His mercy and loving-kindness ceased forever? Have His promises ended for all time? Has God abdandoned or forgotten His graciousness? Has He in anger shut up His compassion? Selah. (Ps 77:7-9)

He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger for ever or hold a grudge. He is not dealing with us according to our sins nor rewarding us according to our iniquities (Psalm 103:9-10).

Only those who are cruel (ruthless and inhuman) have no mercy (Jeremiah 6:23).

For in You, O Lord, the fatherless find love, pity and mercy. You will heal their faithlessness; You will love them freely, for Your anger is turned away (Hosea 14:4).

Who is a God like You, Who forgives iniquity and passes over transgression... ? He retains not His anger for ever, because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness. He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. He will cast all sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:18-19)

For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption (Ps 130:7).

The earth is full of His mercy (Ps 119:64)

His mercy is everlasting (Ps 100:5).

2 Chronicles 5:13 -
"And when the trumpeters and singers were joined IN UNISON, making ONE SOUND to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and other instruments for song and praise the Lord, saying, FOR HE IS GOOD, FOR HIS MERCY AND LOVING-KINDNESS ENDURE FOREVER, then the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud. So that the priests could not stand to mininster because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God."

I LOOK TO THE DAY WHEN WITH ONE VOICE WE PROCLAIM HIS GOODNESS, MERCY AND LOVING-KINDNESS!

For He is good, His mercy and loving-kindness endure for ever (2 Chr 7:3).

Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure for ever (1 Chr 16:41).

O praise the Lord, all you nations! Praise Him, all you people! For His mercy and loving-kindness are great toward us, and the truth and faithfulness of the Lord endure forever. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! (Ps 117)

Let those now who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord say that His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Ps 118:4)

O give thanks to the God of gods, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever (Ps 136:2).

O give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever (Ps 136:3).

His mercy and loving-kindness endure for ever (Jer 33:11).

Over the ark containing the law of Moses was a mercy seat. It was situated above the law (Ex 25:21; Heb 9:5). Mercy triumphs, exults victoriously, over/in judgment (James 2:13).

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice (Hosea 6:6).

I trust in His mercy and loving-kindness (Ps 13:5).

I trust in the mercy and loving-kindness of the God forever and ever (Ps 52:8).

I will sing of the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord for ever; with my mouth will I make knowns Your fiathfulness from generation to generation. For I have said, "Mercy and loving-kindness shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness will You establish in the very heavens (unchangeable and perpetual). Psalm 89:1-2

His mercy is expanding, not contracting. 1 Peter 2:10 - "Once you were not a people at all, but now you are God's people; once you were unpitied, but not you are pitied and have received mercy. (see also Hosea 2:23)

Mercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed eath other. Truth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk (Psalm 85:10-13).

God's love is a faithful, everlasting love; He draws with loving-kindness (Jeremiah 31:3).

The Lord shall reign for ever, not Satan (Ex 15:18; Ps 146:10).

The Lord is King for ever and ever, not Satan (Ps 10:16).

God's throne is for ever, not Satan's (Ps 45:6; Prov 19:14; Heb 1:8).

His name endures for ever, not Satan's (Ps 135:13).

God's name will endure for ever; all nations shall call Him blessed. (Ps 72:17).

His righteousness endures for ever (Ps 112:3).

The truth of the Lord endures for ever (Ps 117:2).

God is the Everlasting Father, not the Everlasting Destroyer; the Prince of Life and Peace, not the Prince of Death and Destruction (Isaiah 9:6).

The Kingdom of God is the only Everlasting Kingdom (Ps 145:13). His Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

-- THE EXAMPLE OF PAUL

Paul said he obtained mercy, that in him, as the foremost of sinners, Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect longsuffering and patience for an example to those who would thereafter believe on Him for eternal life. (1 Timothy 1:16)

Paul said that he blasphemed and persecuted and was shamefully and outrageously and aggressively insulting to Jesus. Nevertheless, he had obtained mercy because he had acted out of ignorance in unbelief. (1 Tim 1:13)

Jesus asked the Father to forgive His enemies, for they knew not what they did (Luke 23:24). They acted out of ignorance in unbelief, just like Paul. Therefore, they shall obtain mercy, just like Paul.

And, just like Paul, the grace of the Lord will flow out suberabundantly and beyond measure to them, accompanied by the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. (1 Tim 1:14)

And they, too, will say with Paul... "The saying is sure and true and worthy of full and universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus the Messiah came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost." (1 Tim 1:15)

And with Paul, I too say, "Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible and immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever (to the ages of ages). Amen, so be it." (1 Tim 1:17)
